The Power of Properly & Effectively Socializing Young Black Males! | Da Teachas
When we fail to properly and effectively socialize (especially racial socialization) young Black boys, we fail them in multitudinous ways. We leave them ill-equipped to navigate the labyrinthine corridors of manhood.
A wealth of pragmatic and empirical data supports the idea that young boys who are properly socialized are less likely to become criminalized, commit acts of violence, fail in their responsibilities as fathers and husbands, and more.
Tune in to Da Teachas tomorrow as Dr. Michael Blanchard and I discuss the need to effectively socialize and prepare young Black men to show up and perform at immensely high levels in every area of life.
